Welcome Olivia! | Newborn Lifestyle Session

I was very excited when Mingie (Olivia’s mom) contacted me a couple of months before she delivered to do a newborn lifestyle session. It’s not very often we get to photograph them!

Olivia gets the honors of being one of our youngest and cutest subjects. She was exactly a week old when I photographed her. Despite being very young, she was very cooperative.

Mingie did such a great job decorating the nursery. It has a vintage theme that’s feminine and chic. Ideally I wanted to do the photo session in the nursery, but we were having a typically dark and overcast Washington weather day and her nursery unfortunately wasn’t letting in enough natural light. We decided that their bedroom would give us slightly better light. It was still pretty dark, but it offered up just enough light. I think we came away with some great photos!
