We were so grateful Min and Kimo chose us to shoot their wedding in Hawaii versus picking a local photographer. It really meant a lot to us and we didn’t want to disappoint.
We were a little nervous as to what to expect. We were in an unfamiliar environment which we had no experience shooting in, and we were meeting a couple we have never met before. Once we met them to shoot their engagement session, it was like meeting old friends. They were very easy to get along with and were fun to shoot. They took us around the non tourist spots of Honolulu and we hung out and took photos in Waikiki. Can you believe that it was cloudy on the day of their engagement shoot! We were expecting blue skies, but the clouds ended up following us. I guess it worked out for Min and Kimo though, we have plenty experience shooting on cloudy dark days =) in Seattle.
We wish we would’ve met them earlier in our trip, we could’ve tried out some of their suggestions as to where to eat! One of Cindy and I’s favorite hobbies.
