I can’t believe it’s been a year now since we shot Muriel’s baby shower. We knew this time around Muriel would do something special again. Philip, her husband, calls it a mini wedding. There may be a little truth to that! Muriel runs an wedding event planning service (MGLAM DESIGNS – http://mglamdesigns.com/) in which she does an amazing job of decorating and planning weddings. We’d hope to shoot another wedding someday which she has planned. Her talent definitely shows through on their son’s carnival theme 1st birthday.
The weather didn’t quite cooperate, as is normally the case in Washington, so the wind blew some of her decorations around, but we think things still turned our great. Most importantly everyone had a great time. Muriel really went out of her way for the kids at the party and there were many of them! There were many games for them to play and prizes to win. Mason’s birthday truly was a carnival. There was face painting, a balloon twister, ton’s of take home items, and great food! It made me wish I was a kid again.
