Julie + Jason | Parsons Garden’s and Kerry Park Engagement Session

As the summer begins to heat up, so does our wedding season! It’s been crazy busy, we’ve been juggling quite a bit this month. Being new parents and a host of other things going on in our personal lives, including weddings and engagements , we rarely seem to get any sleep these days. It is amazing because we aren’t as tired as we thought we might be. I guess you get used to it =). Colin makes sure that we’re wide awake.

Enough about us and on to this fun couple Julie and Jason. Cindy and I instantly got along with them  during our initial meet up. Unfortunately Cindy won’t be available for their wedding  since we have another wedding real close to their date already booked (Though she really wanted to go ). One of us needs to spend time with Colin and not be wiped out =)! Weddings take quite a bit of energy. Almost as much as little babies =).

Their engagement session is the first I’ve shot without Cindy. I wasn’t nervous because I knew Julie and Jason were going to be easy going and easy to shoot. We had a great time,  they gave me the opportunity to get some awesome photos. We started off at Parson’s Gardens in Queen Anne. It’s a small but beautiful park tucked away in Queen Anne. It was a place of some significance to them because they went there for one of their early dates. After that we ended at Kerry Park. It was typically crowded, but you could never tell from the pics!

I’m excited to be shooting your wedding at the Washington Athletic Club later this year!
