We started our 2011 season with our first engagement session with Gen and Justin, they also will be our first bride and groom for the year. We started off in Pioneer Square and it was typical Seattle in February, overcast and cold. Gen and Justin are a little bit opposites, Gen is like a city gal but Justin is more of a nature type of guy. We did a bit of an urban shoot in Pioneer Square and ran up to Ballard and did some nature shots there. But right when we were heading to the Ballard locks, it started raining and by the time we got there it was outright pouring! We weren’t expecting the rain but we didn’t mind as we got some romantic photos from it. At the end of the shoot they braved the rain on the train tracks without an umbrella. You can literally see how wet it was and all the rain drops in the photos. We still can’t believe these two good looking couple said they weren’t photogenic =).
We look forward to their wedding tomorrow! The weather is forecasted to be sunny so let’s hope it is.
