Baby Colin has us working the weirdest hours =). This post was done at 5am. He seems to be even more of a night owl then the both of us! Many photographers only post limited number of photos of a couple’s wedding day. This would definitely give us more time in our lives, but it’s so difficult to limit what we show. We work with some of the most amazing people and experiences it’s too hard not to post a ton of photos! Carolyn and Will’s wedding especially makes it difficult. Their wedding was not at all traditional (in a good way), instead of a church they got married in a green house.
We started the day at Seattle Center for some of our favorite photos. After that we headed over to the Seattle Volunteer Park Conservatory. It’s the perfect venue for an intimate wedding ceremony. There are plants and flowers everywhere, we could have taken many more photos there. It really is a beautiful place.
When their ceremony was over they hopped into their Rolls Royce and headed over to The Ruins in Seattle. The outside of their venue didn’t give a hint of how cool it actually was. It had tons of character on the inside with lots of vintage decor! Their reception was just as intimate as their wedding. It was a contrast to our usual dinner experience, where we usually eat as fast as possible to refuel for the night ahead. Instead Carolyn and Will made us feel like one of their guests vs their photographers. They had us join their dinner table with their family and closest friends, where we were served with some delicious food and deserts. Their thoughtful nature was evident through the entire day. It made for a very memorable day as we got to capture some great moments. Thank you both!
