Shelby and Nick will be getting married this spring. They love to cook and they often go to the Ballard Farmer’s Market on Sunday to shop for fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables. So we met up with them there to document what they love to do. Unlike the many farmer’s markets around our local neighborhoods, the Ballard Farmer’s market is held all year round on Sunday.
After that we wandered around Ballard and were able to capture the essences of fall. Thankfully it didn’t rain, as it always seems to threaten to do in Washington around this time of year. After that we headed down to the Nectar Lounge in Fremont. This is where they first met and since Nick’s friend owns the place so we were able to get a private shoot in the venue before it opened. Wish we could do that with all our shoots =). It was good practice for us since they will be getting married at one of our favorite venues, the Georgetown Ballroom.
