Alicen's Urban Family Photos | Pioneer Square Downtown Seattle

I first met Alicen and her family at a birthday party I had shot. She contacted me to shoot her family photos with an urban style. I was really excited because this really fits our style. Lately it seems like the trend of photographers is to shoot outdoors in a field at sunset. While those type of photos are nice, they really aren’t too challenging and don’t get the creative juices going. I love walking down the streets of a city and the challenge spontaneously finding interesting spots and compositions.

We got to walk around Pioneer Square an explore it a little bit. I had a great time because this family has a great sense of humor and were very fun and funny! Alicen and I also got to talk some photography as she is also a professional photographer who takes awesome photos. She really does some nice studio photography as well as outdoor photography.
